Visiting can be cancelled for lockdowns, weather or count problems. Call the facility the day before you travel.

Dress code

  • No camouflage, khaki, or green-colored clothing
  • No shorts, skorts, or culottes for visitors over age 10
  • No hats, caps, bandanas, or head coverings (except approved religious headwear)
  • No low-cut, see-through, sleeveless, halter, or backless tops
  • No spandex, leotards, form-fitting clothing, or clothing with holes
  • No flip-flops, shower shoes, or shoes without a back strap
  • Skirts and dresses (including slits) must not rise above the back of the knee

  • Wallet or small clear plastic bag
  • Debitek card (for vending machine purchases)
  • Coat during cold weather
  • Essential medication, limited to the amount needed during the visit

Not allowed

  • Cameras, recording devices, pagers, or cell phones
  • Pens/pencils, makeup, perfume, or toys
  • Photographs, newspapers, or magazines
  • Tobacco products
  • Food, gifts, or money for the inmate

ID requirements
All visitors must present a valid driver's license, government/state-issued ID card, or passport.
Children
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult visitor. In the play area, children 5 and under need a parent directly supervising them; children 6+ can play without a parent right beside them but must stay under a parent's visual supervision nearby. Per infant visiting, visitors may bring 4 diapers, 1 unopened pack of wipes, 1 change of clothes, 2 clear bottles with contents, 2 small clear jars of baby food, 1 receiving blanket, 1 see-through cup, and 1 baby spoon.
Vending machines
Vending machines in the visiting room use a Debitek card; visitors may load up to $25 in coins onto the card before entering.
Money you may bring
Up to $25 in coins, loaded onto a Debitek card before entry; no cash allowed past the front lobby.
  • Visitors are not processed before 5:00 p.m. Fridays or 8:30 a.m. Saturdays/Sundays/holidays
  • On Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays, be fully processed through the front lobby by 9:15 a.m. or wait until the institution count clears
  • Lock your vehicle and close the windows once parked; do not loiter in the parking lot
