Dress code

  • No sleeveless, strapless, backless, or tank-top shirts/dresses
  • No miniskirts, wrap skirts, or skirts/shorts more than 2 inches above the knee
  • No tight, form-fitting, or see-through clothing; no deep V-necks
  • No caps, hats, or scarves; no hoods or long coats past the knee
  • No khaki or camouflage-colored clothing (age 10+)
  • No open-toed shoes, slippers, or flip-flops
  • No clothing with gang, sexual, or offensive imagery/language

You may bring

  • Valid government-issued photo ID (required 16 and older)
  • One small clear plastic purse or clear zip-lock bag
  • Up to $20 in coins/$1-$5 bills per adult for vending
  • For infants: pre-mixed formula/food in sealed original containers, up to 3 bottles, 6 diapers, wipes, a change of clothes, 2 small blankets

Not allowed

  • Cell phones and all electronic devices, cameras, recorders
  • Purses/bags that aren't clear plastic, cosmetics, sunglasses, umbrellas
  • Photos, albums, books, magazines, pens/paper, gum, or food (except vending)
  • Strollers, baby carriers, glass containers
  • Weapons, ammunition, knives, or any contraband

Good to know

ID requirements
All visitors 16 and older must present valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, passport, etc.); without it, entry is denied.
Children
Visitors under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Visitors 16-17 not accompanied by a parent need the parent/guardian's written approval and a valid photo ID.
Vending machines
Food/snacks may be bought from vending machines in the visiting room and must be eaten during the visit; inmates cannot take anything out of the visiting room.
Money you may bring
Up to $20 in coins and $1/$5 bills per adult visitor, for vending machines only
  • Arrive no earlier than 8:00 a.m.; must arrive before 2:00 p.m. to be admitted
  • Processing can take over 30 minutes when it's busy; a buzzer system is used, visitors wait in their vehicle until called
  • Restroom facilities for nursing mothers are available in the visiting room
  • Only one visit per day; you cannot leave and come back the same day
