Points / frequency: Each inmate starts with 32 visiting points/month, max 20 usable for weekend/holiday visits; 1 point deducted per hour on weekdays, 2 points per hour on weekends/holidays. Points don't carry over.

Visiting can be cancelled for lockdowns, weather or count problems. Call the facility the day before you travel.

Dress code

  • No miniskirts, halter tops, sleeveless shirts, or tank tops
  • No backless shirts/dresses, body suits, or sweat suits/sweatpants
  • No form-fitting or see-through clothing
  • No clothing ending at or above the knee
  • No open-toed shoes or high heels
  • Female visitors must wear a bra and other undergarments

You may bring

  • Valid government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, military ID, or passport) for visitors 16+
  • One clear coin purse (about 9x9 inches) with up to $20
  • Two diapers and one baby bottle per baby; store-bought sealed baby food

Not allowed

  • Cell phones, pagers, and all electronic devices
  • Hats, ball caps, keys (checked at entrance), cosmetics, sunglasses
  • Food, gum, candy, children's toys, strollers, or child carriers
  • Money over $20, photos, packages, or gifts
  • Cameras or recording equipment

ID requirements
Visitors 16 and older must show valid government photo ID (driver's license, state ID, military ID, or passport); no other document is accepted.
Children
Children under 16 may not visit unless accompanied by a parent or guardian and supervised at all times. Visitors 16-17 not accompanied by a parent/guardian need written approval from a parent, guardian, or immediate family member 18+.
Vending machines
Vending machines are for visitors; the only food allowed in the visiting room is what's purchased there (plus baby bottles/food), consumed during the visit.
Money you may bring
No more than $20 total, carried in one clear coin purse no larger than about 9x9 inches
  • No visiting Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday
  • On weekends/holidays entry is blocked 9:15-10:45 a.m. at the FCI (9:00-11:00 a.m. at the camp) for institutional count
  • Visitors cannot leave and come back the same day
  • No local taxi service available in El Reno
