Dress code

  • No see-through, sleeveless, backless, or form-fitting clothing
  • No tank tops, halter tops, or crop tops that show stomach/back
  • Skirts must be below the knee, standing or seated; no form-fitting skirts
  • No hats (except approved religious headwear), sunglasses, or scarves
  • No camouflage, no khaki shirt-and-pant combos, no sweat suits/hoodies/jerseys
  • No swimwear, open-toed shoes, flip-flops, or sandals

  • Valid government photo ID
  • One small clear plastic purse (max 8x8 inches)
  • Up to $20 in $1/$5 bills and coins
  • Diapers, sealed formula/baby food, and one blanket for an infant

  • Cell phones and electronic devices/keys
  • Strollers, baby carriers, toys, games, photographs
  • Food, drinks, candy, gum, tobacco, matches/lighters
  • Purses/wallets, writing implements, personal or business papers
  • Cosmetics

ID requirements
All visitors must present valid state or government-issued photo ID; without it, entry is denied.
Children
Children 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or immediate family member 18+. A 16-year-old visitor not accompanied by a parent/guardian needs the parent's written approval. Children may not go to vending unescorted or run in the visiting area.
Vending machines
Vending machines are available; a visitor must buy the item and hand it to the inmate unopened, and inmates may not enter or linger at the vending area.
Money you may bring
Up to $20 in $1/$5 bills and coins for vending, no other currency
  • Visitors are not allowed on institution property before 7:45 a.m.
  • Each visitor gets a hand stamped with UV ink, checked on entry and exit
  • Once a visitor leaves the visiting room, the visit is over — no re-entry same day
  • Check www.bop.gov for a red banner if visiting is suspended
