Dress code

  • No see-through, lace, or clothing with holes; no sleeveless shirts, tank/halter/crop tops
  • No formfitting shirts, dresses, skirts, pants, shorts, spandex, or stretch pants
  • Skirts and dresses must be below the knee, standing and seated
  • No hats (except approved religious headwear), no sunglasses, no camouflage clothing
  • No khaki or tan shirt-and-pant combinations at the Medium and Low visiting rooms
  • No sweat suits, hooded sweatshirts, or athletic jerseys
  • No open-toe shoes/flip-flops, no purses/men's wallets, no jackets/coats/gloves/scarves (a light sweater without hood or pockets is OK)
  • No wrist watches or pajama-style clothing

You may bring

  • Valid state or government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, etc.) - required for entry
  • Small clear plastic purse, no larger than 8"x8"
  • Up to $20.00 in $1 and $5 bills and change for vending machines
  • Diapers, formula, sealed baby food, and one blanket for an infant (amount limited to length of visit)
  • Life-sustaining medication (e.g., nitroglycerin, inhalers) - held at the visiting room officer's station during the visit

Not allowed

  • Strollers, baby carriers, baby powder or creams
  • Outside food, drinks, candy, or gum
  • Tobacco products, matches, or lighters
  • Toys, games, photographs, personal/business papers, writing implements
  • Animals (except certified service animals), personal keys (only one car door key allowed)
  • Weapons, controlled substances, electronic devices (cell phones, electronic keys), and cosmetic items

Good to know

ID requirements
All visitors 16 and older must present valid state or government-issued photo identification (driver's license, passport, etc.). Visitors without photo ID will not be admitted.
Children
Children 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or immediate family member at least 18 years old. Proposed visitors who are 16 and unaccompanied need written approval from a parent or guardian, processed through the Unit Team. Each inmate is limited to 5 children visitors (with prior Unit Team approval for more), and visitors/inmates are jointly responsible for supervising children.
Vending machines
Vending machines are available at all three visiting rooms (Medium, Low, Camp). Visitors may buy items for themselves or to hand unopened to the inmate; inmates cannot enter the vending area or share food/drinks with visitors.
Money you may bring
Up to $20.00 in $5 and $1 bills and change, for use in vending machines
  • Visitors are not permitted on institution property before 7:45 a.m. on visiting days
  • Visitor processing stops 1 hour before the institutional count and 1 hour before the close of visiting hours
  • Lockers are provided only for visitors dropped off by cab/without a vehicle; otherwise store unauthorized items in your car
  • Vehicles must remain locked; once you check in, you cannot return to your vehicle without ending the visit
  • Complex has 3 separate visiting sites (Low, Camp/FPC, Medium) with their own parking areas and phone numbers
