  • No plain white t-shirts, or khaki, brown, camouflage, or hunter-green colored clothing

You may bring

  • Valid current photo ID (state driver's license/ID, or two other forms with name and signature)
  • Money for the vending machines
  • A reasonable amount of diapers and infant care items

Not allowed

  • Food or drink brought from outside
  • Underwire bras, excess jewelry, hairpins, or other metal items that could delay metal detector clearance
  • Items to exchange with an inmate, or money/coins for an inmate's commissary account
  • Birth certificates or school photo IDs as identification (not accepted)

ID requirements
A valid current photo ID (state driver's license or state ID card) is required, or two other forms of ID with full name and signature; birth certificates and school photo IDs are not accepted.
Children
Children under 16 may not visit unless accompanied by a responsible adult; all children, including infants, must be listed on the approved visiting list.
Vending machines
Vending machines are available; visitors may bring money for them, but no outside food or drink is allowed, and inmates cannot take vending items or coins back into the institution.

  • FCI has an extra visiting day on Mondays (8:15am-3:15pm) to ease weekend crowding
  • If visits are terminated for overcrowding, local visitors go first, out-of-state/infrequent visitors after a minimum of 2 hours
  • Only a brief kiss, embrace, and handshake are allowed, at arrival and departure only
