Dress code

  • Walking shorts/culottes no more than 3" above the knee; skirts within 3" of the knee, no higher splits
  • No see-through clothing; no spandex or other tight-fitting apparel
  • No military-style/camouflage clothing
  • No tank tops or clothing exposing the midriff or cleavage
  • Footwear required; sandals OK but no flip-flops
  • No solid grey sweatpants/sweatshirts; no medical scrubs
  • No solid khaki/tan clothing at the Low or Medium facility; no solid orange at the Medium; no solid green at the Camp

You may bring

  • Valid, unexpired state driver's license or state ID card (birth certificates/social security cards not accepted)
  • Up to $40 cash for vending machine purchases
  • A reasonable number of diapers and other infant-care items, and sanitary napkins

Not allowed

  • Outside food of any kind (including chewing gum)
  • Coins or money given directly to the inmate
  • Items other than vending-machine food given to the inmate
  • Any item exchanged between inmate and visitor

ID requirements
Photo identification is required: a valid, unexpired state driver's license or state ID card. Birth certificates and Social Security cards are not accepted.
Children
Children, regardless of age, count as an adult visitor for purposes of the visiting-room visitor limit; children are permitted in the designated children's play area, and the same rules apply to them as to adults.
Vending machines
Visitors may bring up to $40 cash to buy items from the visiting-room vending machines; those items must be consumed in the visiting room and cannot be taken out by the inmate.

Up to $40 in cash, for vending machine purchases only
  • Visitors with medical conditions preventing them from clearing the metal detector (oxygen tank, prosthetics, etc.) need written documentation and prior unit-team approval
  • Personal belongings not permitted inside must go in institution lockers or stay in the visitor's car
