Visiting can be cancelled for lockdowns, weather or count problems. Call the facility the day before you travel.

Dress code

  • No hats, open-toe sandals/shoes, low-cut shirts/blouses, halter tops, sheer/transparent clothing
  • No overalls, sleeveless tops or dresses, shorts, miniskirts, culottes, capri pants, or spandex
  • Dresses/skirts no shorter than the top of the knee; no slits above the knee
  • No clothing resembling inmate clothing (khaki or grey sweats) or with derogatory/gang-related logos
  • Undergarments required for all visitors, including a bra for female visitors
  • No bare feet (except babies); footwear required for all visitors

You may bring

  • Valid state or federal government-issued photo ID
  • Up to $20.00 in coins for vending machines
  • Two diapers, one baby blanket, two sealed baby food containers, and two clear full baby bottles, in a clear container/case

Not allowed

  • Any item to give directly to the inmate (only vending-machine purchases are allowed)
  • Hats and non-service headgear in the Visiting Room
  • Items resembling inmate clothing colors (khaki, grey sweats)
  • Anything that can't clear the walk-through metal detector
  • Cameras/recording devices, and documents without prior approval

Good to know

ID requirements
Valid state or federal government photo ID is required; visitors who cannot provide valid ID will be turned away at the front lobby.
Children
Inmates are responsible for the conduct and supervision of their minor visitors and children; children under 12 may be allowed to wear shorts at staff discretion.
Vending machines
Visitors may buy items from vending machines for the inmate to eat/drink, but the inmate must consume them before leaving the Visiting Room; nothing may be taken back into the institution.
Money you may bring
Visitors may bring no more than $20.00, in coins only, to buy items from vending machines.
  • Random visitors are also required to pass an ION drug-scanning check before entering
  • Attorneys of record need no prior approval to visit on a regular visiting day if listed on the inmate's visiting list
  • FCC Pollock is located at 1000 Airbase Road, Pollock, LA, off Hwy 165; watch for FCC Pollock/Airport signs and turn onto Airbase Road
