Visiting days depend on their housing unit

The main FCI and Camp are open to everyone on their scheduled weekend days. In the FDC (detention) unit, J-1 housing visits Friday and Saturday while J-2 visits Sunday and Monday.

Visiting can be cancelled for lockdowns, weather or count problems. Call the facility the day before you travel.

Dress code

  • No transparent, revealing, or tight/form-fitting clothing (spandex, leggings, yoga pants)
  • No shorts, miniskirts, halter/tank/strapless tops, or sleeveless shirts
  • Dresses/skirts must reach the bottom of the kneecap with no slit above the knee
  • No clothing resembling inmate colors (khaki, green, red, yellow) or staff uniforms
  • No sweatshirts/sweatpants or jogging outfits
  • Closed-toe shoes with a heel or strap required; no flip-flops, slippers, or shower shoes
  • No watches or bracelets

You may bring

  • Valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (visitors 16 and older)
  • One clear zip-lock bag (up to 1 gallon) or clear coin purse
  • Up to $30 in coins only for vending machines (no paper money)
  • One car key (except rental keys that can't be separated from a fob)
  • Limited baby items: diapers, wipes, factory-sealed formula/baby food, clear bottle, small blanket
  • One plain wedding band, one plain religious neck chain, prescription glasses

Not allowed

  • Cell phones, pagers, and other electronic devices
  • Paper currency, packages, gifts, or outside photos
  • Food or drinks brought from outside (vending machines only)
  • Tobacco products of any kind
  • Weapons, drugs, or other contraband (federal felony, up to 20 years)
  • Watches, bracelets, strollers, or car seats

Good to know

ID requirements
Visitors age 16 and older must present a valid, unexpired state or government-issued photo ID showing full name and signature (e.g., driver's license). An expired license is not valid, though a suspended license is accepted.
Children
All children, regardless of age, must be on the inmate's approved visiting list. Visitors must supervise their children at all times in the visiting room; disruptive behavior can lead to the visit being ended. Infant items brought in (bottle, diapers, formula) are limited and inspected by staff.
Vending machines
Vending machines are available in the Visiting Room for food and drinks. No outside food may be brought in. Inmates and visitors cannot share food/drink or remove vending items from the room.
Money you may bring
Coins only, up to $30 per visitor, carried in a clear zip-lock bag (up to 1 gallon) or clear coin purse. No paper currency allowed.
  • Visitor processing stops one hour before the Visiting Room closes (around 2:00pm)
  • Visitors are not allowed on institution grounds before 8:00am
  • On weekends/holidays, processing pauses around 9:15am during the institution count and resumes after
  • A limited number of lockers are available in the front lobby for items visitors can't secure elsewhere
  • Lodging is limited near the rural facility; the closest options are in McMinnville, OR (about 13 miles away) and Sheridan, OR
