Visiting days depend on their housing unit

Visiting follows a locally-set rotation, and due to space limits some inmates/visitors may only get Saturday or only Sunday (not both) on a given weekend. The exact rotation isn't detailed in BOP's published document - ask the inmate's unit team.

Before you book anything, ask your loved one which day and time they're assigned — by phone, email or letter — and confirm it with the facility. The calendar shows every possible visiting day at this facility, not necessarily theirs.

Rotation: Inmates visit according to an established rotation schedule and are guaranteed a minimum of 4 hours of visiting time per month; due to space and staffing, some inmates/visitors may be limited to only Saturday or only Sunday (not both) on a given weekend. Entry pauses at 9:15 a.m. for the 10:00 a.m. stand-up count and resumes after count clears.

Visiting can be cancelled for lockdowns, weather or count problems. Call the facility the day before you travel.

Dress code

  • No see-through clothing, halter/tube tops, sleeveless shirts, tank tops, or midriff-revealing tops
  • No low-cut, backless, skin-tight, or spandex clothing
  • Visitors over 12: skirts/shorts/dresses may not be shorter than the top of the kneecap
  • Closed-toe footwear required (no sandals, flip-flops, or open-toed shoes)
  • Undergarments required, including bras for female visitors

You may bring

  • Valid photo ID (driver's license, passport, or state/county ID) for visitors 16 and older
  • One clear plastic bag/container to carry all authorized items
  • Keys and money for vending machines
  • Feminine hygiene products
  • Diapers and bottles for immediate infant care; cardiac medication and asthma inhalers in original containers

Not allowed

  • Wallets and purses (only one small clear 5"x8" change purse allowed)
  • Diaper bags or strollers
  • Cameras, recording equipment, or other electronic devices
  • Documents/papers without prior Unit Team approval
  • Pets (except certified service animals with vaccination documentation)

ID requirements
Every visitor age 16 or older must present valid photo ID (driver's license, passport, or state/county ID); visitors under 16 accompanied by a parent/guardian are exempt.
Children
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult; a children's area with TV and toys is available (only staff operate the TV). Breastfeeding is permitted in the visiting room with discretion.
Vending machines
Visitors may bring money for vending machines and give vending-machine items to the inmate to consume during the visit.
Money you may bring
Money for vending machines is allowed in visitors' pockets; inmates are prohibited from possessing or handling money, and visitors may not leave money with staff for the inmate's commissary account.
  • Outdoor visiting is offered mid-spring through mid-fall, weather permitting, on a first-come first-served basis; groups may not split between indoor and outdoor
  • Special consideration to continue a visit is given to visitors who traveled more than 400 miles
  • Park on 12th Street between Douglas and Pine, near the football field; follow inmate visitor parking signs
