Visiting hours vary by housing unit on a rotating schedule that changes every 2 weeks; the exact day/time for a specific unit is posted at the institution, not in this document. Ask the inmate's unit team which day and time applies.

Before you book anything, ask your loved one which day and time they're assigned — by phone, email or letter — and confirm it with the facility. The calendar shows every possible visiting day at this facility, not necessarily theirs.

Rotation: Actual visiting hours vary by housing unit on a rotating schedule that changes every 2 weeks (posted separately at the institution as Attachment 6, not included in this scanned document). Wednesday-Sunday 7:00 AM-8:00 PM (including federal holidays) is the outer window within which each unit's specific day/time falls. Each inmate gets 2 visits per month, 1 hour each (Units 1-C and 3-C may visit as often as the schedule allows). Processing starts 30 minutes before a visiting period and stops 1 hour 15 minutes before it ends. Special Housing Unit inmates visit the first Wednesday of each month only, 1 hour, up to 7 inmates in the room at once. Confirm the exact day/time with the inmate's unit team.

Visiting can be cancelled for lockdowns, weather or count problems. Call the facility the day before you travel.

Dress code

  • No transparent, tight, or sexually suggestive clothing
  • No halter tops, sleeveless shirts, or blouses that show above the waistline
  • No shorts, mini-skirts, or dresses/skirts shorter than 2 inches above the knee
  • No sandals, slippers, or open-toe shoes; no bare feet (except babies)
  • No wigs, hats, or scarves unless removed for inspection before entering
  • No jackets, watches, or jewelry of any kind
  • No khaki or olive-colored clothing, or anything resembling staff/tactical team uniforms

You may bring

  • Valid driver's license or other government-issued photo ID
  • A car key and personal ID card only — leave everything else locked in your vehicle
  • Up to 2 diapers per infant
  • Two clear plastic bottles of baby formula and/or juice
  • Essential medication (e.g., an asthma inhaler or nitroglycerin), declared to staff at entry

Not allowed

  • Food, drinks, or candy brought in from outside
  • Packages, photos, or gifts of any kind
  • Strollers, carriers, diaper bags, or toys
  • Cell phones, cameras, or recording devices without the warden's written consent
  • Money for the inmate's trust account (send it by mail instead) or tobacco of any kind

Good to know

ID requirements
Positive picture identification is required for all visitors. Only a valid driver's license or a government-issued photo ID card is accepted.
Children
No visitor under 16 is allowed without an accompanying adult visitor. Children over 16 count as one adult visitor; small children who stay on an adult's lap the whole visit don't count toward the 2-visitor limit.
Vending machines
Food, drinks, or candy may be purchased in the visiting room, but must be eaten there before leaving — nothing may be taken out or given to the inmate beyond what's shared from a purchase made inside the room.
