Points / frequency: The visiting program gives 1 point each time an inmate receives a visit; once 6 points (6 separate visits) accumulate in a month, no more visits are allowed that month. Holiday visits don't count as an accessed visit.

Visiting can be cancelled for lockdowns, weather or count problems. Call the facility the day before you travel.

Dress code

  • No sleeveless, strapless, or bare-back blouses, tank tops; no halter tops or midriff shirts
  • No dresses/skirts with long slits, or worn more than 2 inches above the knee; no miniskirts or wrap-around skirts
  • No tight, form-fitting, or see-through clothing; no deep V-neck tops
  • No caps, hats, or scarves of any kind; no long coats/sweaters/jackets with hoods or extending below the knee
  • No Lycra/spandex, athletic wear, sweat suits, wind suits, or swimwear
  • No slippers, crocs, or open-toed shoes; no khaki or camouflage-colored clothing

You may bring

  • Valid, current photo ID (visitors over 15), such as a state driver's license
  • One small (half-gallon size) clear plastic purse or clear zip-lock bag
  • For infants: up to 3 nursing bottles, 6 diapers, wet wipes, a change of clothing, and two small blankets (sealed pre-mixed formula/food only)

Not allowed

  • Money/coins given to the inmate (visitors may bring cash only for vending machines)
  • Strollers, baby carriers, hats, makeup left in the lobby
  • Baby powders, creams, ointments, bowls, or cups
  • Smoking in the visiting room; outside food (including gum)

Good to know

ID requirements
Any visitor over age 15 must produce and surrender valid photo identification (driver's license or other government-issued ID) to the Front Lobby Officer; it's returned after the visit.
Children
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian; visitors 16-17 without a parent/guardian present need written parental approval and a valid photo ID. Each inmate is allowed no more than 5 visitors total, including children.
Vending machines
Only food items from the Visiting Room vending machines (plus baby bottles/food) may be brought in; items must be eaten in the visiting room and can't be taken out. Inmates may not accompany visitors to the vending machines (marked by a yellow out-of-bounds line).
  • Visitors are not allowed to go back and forth to vehicles in the parking lot during the visit
  • Outside visiting areas are closed to all visitation activity
  • Visitors are subject to drug screening and random pat searches
