Do I need approval before visiting?
Yes. Your loved one must add you to their visiting list and the prison must approve you before you travel. Approval can take several weeks.
Can visiting be cancelled?
Yes. Lockdowns, weather and count problems can cancel visiting with no notice. Always call the facility the day before you travel.
